Time is almost up to enter the Shaw Contract Design Awards and be recognised globally for excellence in architecture and design.

Returning for the 14th year, the Shaw Contract Design Awards recognise the creative vision of the architects and designers who inspire new ways of living, working, learning and healing.

The awards place a spotlight on a diverse range of talents from across the globe, celebrating design in action and purposefully rewarding the innovative and truly inspiring work being done by the architecture and design community.

The program is open to all professional interior design firms, architecture firms and end users. Projects must feature a Shaw Contract product within the space and must have been completed between February 2017 and February 2019.

But you need to be quick: entries close on Friday 1 March 2019.

Why enter the awards?

In addition to the endorsement of excellence and industry recognition of the Design Award itself, two representatives from each Final Award-winning firm will also be invited to attend a design journey to Art Basel Miami 2019, with business class airfares.

Art and design have an increasingly blurred boundary and this curated experience reflects Shaw Contract’s design philosophy and its appreciation of the inspiring work of the Final winners.

You’ll also be supporting a cause – each year the final winners and People’s Choice Award winner select a charity of their choice to donate $2000 USD as part of their prize winnings. This allows designers the opportunity to make an impact beyond the built environment.

In total, the awards program has given nearly $200,000 to non-profit and charitable organisations around the world.
