The shortlist for the IDEA 2020 Object – Furniture and Lighting (Professional) and Sustainability categories have been announced.

The shortlisted projects for each category are listed below in a dedicated video and featured on the IDEA website where you can find more images and information about each project.

The Residential Multi, Colour, Retail, Object – Furniture and Lighting (Rising), Residential Decoration, International, Emerging Designer of the Year, and Workplace Over 1000sqm categories were announced last week.

Shortlists to be announced this week:

The Public Space, Event, Hospitality, Institutional and Designer of the Year shortlists were announced earlier in the week.

Shortlisted projects were selected by our editorial team. A further round of judging by our jury – Andrew Parr, Hana Hakim, Rachel Luchetti, Simone Haag, Anna Spiro, Brendan Wong and Jeremy Bull – will determine the category winners, which will be announced at our annual IDEA gala.

We’ll end the week and our IDEA 2020 shortlist reveals with a video from our judges.

In it, they’ll be shedding light on what they’ll be looking for when they meet on 15 October to select this year’s winners.
