The 2016 Laminex DIA awards are approaching this month and will coincide with APSDA in Adelaide, South Australia. Local SA manufacturer Workspace Commercial Furniture are excited about this year’s awards and are still feeling the impacts from their success last year.

At the 2015 awards night, their in-house designed and manufactured Olea range of compact lounges won a silver award in the object category. With symmetry, ease of manufacture, assembly and compact footprint as the key areas of focus; the Olea compact lounges have gone on to be a success in Workspace’s breakout and waiting area range.

The range consists of single and two seater compact lounge chairs with solid ash timber frames, upholstered moulded ply seat and back monoshell, and floating seat and back cushions which can be contrasted to the monoshell fabric.

This has allowed Workspace’s customers to tailor the look of Olea to a wide range of interior projects and colour schemes. The compact footprint of the design means that minimal floor space is needed for these comfortable and modern compact lounges.

The Olea range can be viewed in Workspace Commercial Furniture showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Canberra.
