Australian designer Tom Fereday collaborates with Zenith Design Studio to produce the new luxury lounge collection Easel.

As furniture designers and curators of the modern workplace, Zenith has long championed Australian design through partnerships with local visionaries. Its latest collaborator, award-winning furniture and product designer Tom Fereday, brings a shared passion for honest design, sustainable materials and exemplary craftsmanship to the Easel collection. 

Like its namesake, Easel is a lounging solution that provides steadfast support and frames the beauty within.

Where function, comfort and art converge

The Easel collection is designed for physical, functional and behavioural requirements while upholding a contemporary art form. It is this blend that crafts a sophisticated lounging experience. 

The collection features a family of single- and multi-seat lounges in a standard (750-millimetre-height) configuration. Framed in either natural American Oak or Black Stained Oak, Easel can be upholstered in a vast array of textiles and leathers.

A flat-packing solid timber construction frames an incredibly strong yet refined seating collection designed for comfort with a soft-webbed frame and natural wool fibre inlay. The soft body of Easel lounges features gently curving edges, showcasing the natural beauty and elegance of the upholstery when paired with timber. Clean, pragmatic lines provide a canvas for the soft, coloured upholstery, which is visible on the inside and outside of the lounge.

The details of each piece and their thoughtful genesis elevate the entire lounge experience, ensuring an enduring collection.
