There is less than one week left to enter ADR and Cult’s Flowerpot Portable Table Lamp by Verner Panton competition, which closes for entries at 23:59 EDST on 30 March.
Valued at $375, the giveaway celebrates the release of the portable version of this iconic mid-century lamp.

Danish designer Verner Panton originally created the vividly coloured design in 1968 as an ode to the Flower Power movement and his own protest against the monochromatic style of previous eras.
Panton himself often worked with psychologists to study the effect colour has on our moods and was a big proponent of bright, vibrant furniture design.
Now, more than five decades later, fellow Danish design brand &Tradition has reimagined this iconic lamp as a portable piece suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and available exclusively in Australia from Cult.
Practical, while playful, functional, yet fun, &Tradition’s slightly smaller Flowerpot Portable (VP9) maintains the bright colours and individualistic attitude of Panton’s lamp.
Intended to work as a multifunctional piece, it’s deliberately lightweight and its cordless design allows for easy transition from bedside to dining table to terrace.
“More than 50 years after it was created, the Flowerpot continues to uplift interiors,” says &Tradition founder and CEO Martin Kornbek Hansen.
“We are delighted to introduce the VP9, the portable design of which means the lamp can now be enjoyed around the home, including as a stylish substitute for candlelight outside.”

The lamp is also available to buy online, where full product details can be found.
