Geyer names Wendy Geitz as CEO

Interior design practice Geyer has appointed Wendy Geitz as CEO to drive the future vision and strategy of the five studio business.

Wendy will head up the award-winning 40 year old company as it continues to deliver strategy led design solutions for top tier clients across Asia Pacific.

Previously, Geitz has worked for Lendlease in various senior roles over a ten-year period, at Woods Bagot as senior consultant, for DEGW (AECOM) as head of Australia and NZ, and at Suncorp as executive manager for Major Workplace Projects and Transformation. There she ran projects to the value of $150m in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

She says of her appointment: “I am thrilled to be joining Geyer which has a long history and enviable brand in delivering insightful and elegantly crafted design solutions for its clients. I have a deep belief in the power of design and its ability to positively impact people and the cultures within organisations.

As CEO Geitz will focus on building Geyer’s leadership in design, its customer centric approach to creating design solutions, its unique culture and people, and its strategic business planning for the future.

Geitz will take up the role on 5 March 2018.
