Global architecture studio Woods Bagot is thrilled to announce the promotion of six senior high-performing staff members to the position of principal across its Dubai, Singapore, Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide studios.

“These leaders bring a wealth of experience, creativity, and passion that will continue to elevate our Global Studio and strengthen our position as a global leader in the industries within which we work,” says Woods Bagot CEO Nik Karalis.

“We are confident that our newly appointed principals will provide exceptional leadership, inspiring our teams to push boundaries and deliver extraordinary results.”

Recognised for their performance and leadership, the list includes – David Lee (Brisbane), Kirsti Simpson (Brisbane), Tim Davies (Dubai), Edwina Bennett (Adelaide), Neil Hill (Sydney) and Rosie Oliver (Singapore).

David Lee

David has been with Woods Bagot for more than 14 years, building an impressive portfolio including Heritage Lanes 80 Ann Street in Brisbane’s CBD and The Standard in South Brisbane, where he has other work under way. He is the lead design architect for the studio and specialises in multi-residential and workplace architecture.

Edwina Bennett

Based in Adelaide, Bennett is an advocate for people-centric design as Woods Bagot’s global health sector leader. In a distinguished career, she has worked across health and life sciences, education, defence, commercial, hospitality, and large-scale residential. At present, her major focus is the new Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Kirsti Simpson

In her home city of Brisbane and beyond, Simpson has forged a reputation as one of Australia’s foremost exponents of commercial architecture and workplace design and was recently appointed global leader – workplace interiors for Woods Bagot. Simpson is also the Brisbane studio chair and is playing a crucial role for the business ahead of the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.

Neil Hill

Hill is regional transport leader for Woods Bagot in Australia and New Zealand and fundamental to the design of major projects including Central Station Sydney, Crows Nest Station Sydney, Morley-Ellenbrook Line in Perth and Western Sydney International Airport. He is currently working on a major international transport project.

Rosie Oliver

Oliver has led the Woods Bagot Singapore studio to great success since joining more than two years ago, growing its workplace interiors and retail business. Specialising in architectural interiors, Oliver has worked with some of the world’s best-known brands, delivering workplaces for Twitter, Swiss Re, Riot Games and Rio Tinto.

Tim Davies

Life has come full circle for Davies, who recently returned to Dubai – the place his career began more than 20 years ago. Davies has a talent for managing large complex projects and is passionate about the design of commercial towers, luxury hotels and high-end residential. Recent achievements include the reinvention of InterContinental Sydney.
