The 2022 iteration of our gala isn’t just a chance to rub shoulders with the best Australian architects and interior designers, it’s also when we’ll be revealing, in person, the winners of last year’s IDEA awards.

In 2021, we had more than 500 entries and more than 300 shortlisted projects. At the IDEA gala, we’ll be announcing the winners of all 15 categories.

We’ll also be announcing the Project of the Year, Emerging Designer of the Year and Designer of the Year – a fierce contest between YSG, Kennedy Nolan, Arent & Pyke, Carter Williamson, Fender Katsalidis, Fiona Lynch and FMD Architects.

We’ve sold more than 450 tickets so far, and our last few tickets are selling out fast.

We are so grateful to all the practices and studios that have already bought them. This past year has been pretty stressful and we are over the moon to acknowledge, celebrate and award outstanding Australian design.

The IDEA gala party is our way of giving back to the industry and saying thank you to all the studios and practices that enter our annual awards program.
