MAKE Architecture rebrands as Studio Bright

Melbourne-based architecture practice MAKE has rebranded as Studio Bright to better reflect how it has evolved to be led solely by director Mel Bright.

The 13-year-old business will continue to work on residential projects but will now also turn its attention to larger-scale builds, such as civic, educational and multi-residential.

Director Mel Bright told ADR: “MAKE started as a very different practice and has evolved over the years to be led solely by me. We thought it was the right time to review and reposition what we are doing to get ready for the next phase.

“Having been recognised as an emerging practice over the past years, we thought it was time to grow up. The new name and branding reflects the maturing of the studio and hopefully reflects our interests and passions.”

Studio Bright already has a number of larger projects underway, including 8 Loftus Street, a multi-residential project in Sydney and St Mary’s Coptic Church in Victoria.
