As of Q2 2016, The Shard, in London, credited as the tallest building in Europe, will be the home of one of the world’s fastest growing luxury fashion retailers, Matches Fashion. Tasked with creating the ultimate urban and design-led office space that complemented the brands fashion prowess was JEB Europe, leaders in innovative office spaces and designers of office partition systems.
Nic Owen Architects is behind project Big Little House in Melbourne’s Fitzroy North, proving that big things really do come in small packages.
Among other things, the event featured a lecture presentation by AR editor Michael Holt and a keynote address by Dave Pigram and Iain (Max) Maxwell, directors of Sydney-based practice supermanoeuvre.
The project involved cost-efficient renovation of an old residence into a modern house for a growing family, utilising maximum space and light and providing a better connection to the outdoor space.
