With a focus on modesty and sustainable design, the new flexible rug collection FORMULA CONTRACT from nanimaquina is tailored especially for exterior and interior contract projects.
With global expertise and 30 years industry experience, nanimarquina has launched a new contract business unit to address architects and designer’s rug-based needs, with FORMULA CONTRACT as the star attraction.
With more than 250 possible combinations, the FORMULA CONTRACT offers “highly functional and flexible rugs” for designers with “five models and 30 colours to find the indoor or outdoor solution that best suits the space.”
“FORMULA CONTRACT is born after studying the main needs of architects and designers and fine-tuned by the nanimarquina team’s 30+ years of residential, commercial and contract experience,” says the Spanish rug company.
“We want to help make people feel at home in your space.”
From the conception to the process, the new rug collection features local fibres and recycled materials to promote sustainable practices.
As with all nanimarquina rugs, the FORMULA CONTRACT collection is hand-made in India and Pakistan by weaver masters, ensuring the best quality standards and ensuring their cultural heritage.
Designers can choose from a Hand tuft model defined by a sequence of abstract lines and the elegant Hand loomed made by cut & loop.
Or they can select a Dhurrie that combines three colours to create a striking visual effect and a Sumak with a braided textured look and feel
Also, the hard-wearing Kilim rug plays with two-tone design to produce a tonal rhythm in the space for outdoor and indoor projects.
The designs offer a range of nuances, with each model “answering the need of most projects to have a high-quality rug that can easily coexist with other elements in a space.”
nanimarquina was founded in 1987 with a singular wish to design rugs that were “visually amazing, that people would enjoy.” Based in Barcelona and New York City, nanimarquina collaborates with renowned national and international designers to “guarantee the diversity of styles and experimentation with textures, materials and shapes.”
