Designer Roberto Lazzeroni has created a mini collection for well-known Italian brand Poltrona Frau. The collection, entitled Nivola, includes an armchair and a sofa, both of which are available in a couple of variations. The collection is currently on display at the Milan Furniture Fair 2014.

The design is streamlined and elegant to provide comfort and durability. The outer shell of the seats is produced from moulded polyurethane foam with light padding in polyester wadding. The rounded seats have springs with elastic belts and are padded in polyurethane foam and pressed felt. The goose down seat cushions also have polyurethane foam for extra comfort.

The frames are made of solid ash wood in wenge. While the external cover of the seats is made from the trademark Cuoio Saddle Extra leather, the internal cover is done in Pelle Frau’s trademark Soul, Nest or leather finish. The seats are also available in a Cuoio Saddle Extra leather and velvet variation.

The designs are suitable for both home and corporate settings.
