Haymes Colour Library Volume 15: Awakening is all about embracing the change we see all around us.

The Australian paint brand‘s latest colour library explores how we are adjusting to the “new normal”, encouraging us to “let our personality shine through” and “live the life we’ve always dreamed”.

The new library features a set of three unique colour palettes: Game Changer, In the Moment and Clearview.

Haymes colour and concept manager Wendy Rennie says the palettes are designed to “evoke passion and a sense of drive” to embrace new opportunities, emerge to new experiences and realise the “true essence” of what it means to be alive.

“Our new colour library is influenced by Australia’s slow rekindling after what has been an unimaginable time,” she says.

“We wanted to use colours to inspire our customers to create a space that is uniquely theirs and embrace the new way we live and grow in our homes.”

Game Changer

Encapsulating a “playful vibrancy” and “fresh optimism”, this palette is designed to bring a sense of fun and lively energy to the home.

Powdered blues, shades of sunset pink, aqua green and mustard yellows encourage us to “break free” from limitations and encourage designers to be original in their colour choices.

In the Moment

Inspired by the Australian landscape, In the Moment applies shades of rust, browns, oranges and neutrals to promote “groundedness”.

The palette calls on us to value the world we have with shades that foster a sense of security. It seeks to provide us with the strength to “face the new normal” by creating a home grounded in well-being and a love for all things local.

Clearview

The final palette, Clearview, represents the idealised “tree change, sea change and everything in between”.

Its colours range from deep tones of ink blues and dark forest greens to light greys and powder blues with the goal of promoting idealism and creating an “everyday feeling of harmony” as we live more aware and in sync with what it is that truly aligns with our core values.
