Design Show Australia coming to Sydney

Australia’s largest exhibition for interior design, architecture and fit-out, Design Show Australia is taking over ICC Sydney from Thursday 20 until Saturday 22 October.

Presented by ArchiPro, Design Show Australia features hundreds of products from leading Australian brands and businesses over three days.

The annual exhibition is a hallmark event in the design industry calendar and this year is set to be the most comprehensive to date.

Design Show Australia CEO Brad Langton says the event is a “unique opportunity for both industry members and the general public to experience the best in Australian design,  products, and manufacturing all in one place.

“There has been no large-scale design exhibition like this in Sydney for eight years – and there’s no other event quite like it in the Australian design calendar. This year’s Design Show is promising to be a truly exciting and immersive experience showcasing the vitality of the  Australian design landscape.”

The expanded exhibition will showcase a broad range of categories including residential, workspace, commercial and hospitality. Visitors will also have access to a program of over 40 presentations specifically curated for design industry professionals.

Immersive spectacles at the event’s Main Stage include a multi-sensorial activation designed by Arthur Koulotoulas to explore the intersection between art and architecture.

Cult Design will also present two activations, including the Lincoln Lounge, a unique presentation of the brand’s 2022 collection presented in partnership with Four Pillars Gin, alongside an exclusive opportunity to experience the Cult’s Australian design brand nau in a residential setting.

A collaborative installation by ARUP, Woods Bagot, Euroluce, europanel and Buildcorp titled {Whose Bright Idea?} will entice visitors to consider the lifespan of products and materials beyond the immediate timeline of a project through a striking sensorial journey of sight, touch and sound.
