The CULT outlet is a new and permanent e-store based on Cult’s website that offers a vast range of ex-display and discontinued furniture, lighting and homewares. 

Guided by a goal of increasing Cult’s digital e-commerce output in Australia, the outlet provides exclusive and one-off discounts. 

Consumers are promised up to 70 percent off designer furniture, lighting and accessories sourced from local and international brands such as Poltrana Frau, HAY, Gubi, nau, Carl Hansen and Son, Magnis and many more. 

The pieces range in condition and quality – ex-display and customer-returned items, aged stock that has never made it to display and discontinued styles and finishes. 

To ensure customers are aware of the variance in product condition, Cult developed an informative four-tier condition scale that distinguishes items based on whether they are new and boxed, possess small signs of wear to more obvious signs of use, and also if the item needs a complete repair. 

Such items that do show greater evidence of wear and tear are displayed with supplementary product imagery and information, so customers feel comfortable and confident in their purchases. Ex-display items are unable to be refunded or exchanged, and are sold as pictured. 

Every piece in the outlet collection has been designed with product resilience in mind. The pieces are also available to be shipped Australia-wide from the Sydney warehouse. 

New products will be added to the outlet every month, and the items are not on display in stores.
