Renowned British luxury bed maker Vispring has officially launched in Australia with a flagship showroom in the affluent Melbourne suburb of Armadale. The serene new space is dedicated to showcasing Vispring’s beds, which promise to provide the rest needed to fuel peak performance for athletes to royalty, celebrities and business leaders. 

Many were in attendance at the showroom launch on 11 March, including special guest MotoGP world champion Mick Doohan, Channel 7 chief sport reporter Rebecca Maddern, TV personality Rebecca Judd, billionaire property developer Larry Kestelman and Western Bulldogs AFL star Rory Lobb.

Designing a Vispring mattress

Since pioneering the world’s first pocket-sprung mattress in 1901, Vispring has been handcrafting beds using artisan techniques passed down through generations. Each bed is individually made in Devon, England and shipped to Australia.

Vispring mattresses are made with individually pocketed springs, arranged in a unique honeycomb design to cradle the body and provide exceptional support throughout the night. 

They are upholstered using natural fibres, including silk, mohair, cashmere, bamboo, Platinum Certified British fleece wool and Real Shetland Wool. These materials make every Vispring mattress hypoallergenic and breathable, offering a fresh and hygienic sleeping environment.

Each mattress is side-stitched by hand to enhance its strength and ensure the entire surface provides support and comfort.

The full range of Vispring sleep products – from beds to finishing touches like headboards, legs, fabrics and toppers – are now available in Australia with prices ranging from $20,000 to $220,000. 

Vispring also offers a tailored experience, working with interior designers and customers to make beds tailored to individual needs and style. With a wide selection of headboards, divan bases, and more than 100 fabric coverings available, each bed can be designed to complement any interior scheme.
