We’re teaming with Cult for the giveaway, with its in-house design team on hand to help the winner personally choose their favourite fabric from the Capture, Diablo, Fame, Rime or Tonus upholstery collection.

Designed by Danish architect and furniture designer Arne Jacobsen, the Swan Chair is one of history’s most iconic pieces and was first created in 1958 for the lobby and lounge areas of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen – the city’s first high rise building.

Jacobsen’s ideas have shaped the landscape of Danish design, with the Swan Chair showcasing his artistic talent for soft, organic design that belies its simplicity.

The Swan Chair measures 77 centimetres in height and 74 centimetres in width with a depth of 68 centimetres.

It features a moulded shell of synthetic material on an aluminium star swivel base. A layer of cold foam covers the shell, which is then upholstered in fabric or leather.

The winner of our competition will get to choose their favourite fabric from the Capture, Diablo, Fame, Rime or Tonus upholstery collection with personalised help from Cult’s in-house design team.

The Swan Chair is also available to buy in store or online in Australia from Cult. Head to the Cult website to read the full product details.

This competition is now closed.

There is one (1) x Fritz Hansen Swan Chair by Arne Jacobsen valued at up to $6420 in winner’s choice of fabric from the Capture, Diablo, Fame, Rime or Tonus upholstery collection, and this will be awarded to one (1) individual winner.
