The pieces recall the simple objects familiar to children’s folklore. Interpreting the humble setting and tradition of children’s fables into modern designs, Didier’s new collection can fit a range of decor settings.
Dale Hardiman and Adam Lynch are young furniture designers based in Melbourne. Through their company Dowel Jones they are crafting beautifully made products that push the boundaries of design innovation and sustain the environment.
Created along the lines of top international furniture expos, the event will feature individual or group exhibit spaces showcasing locally made furniture and furnishings including flooring, wall and decorative elements.
The original sofa was custom-designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand for the living room of Corbusier’s new apartment in Paris.
