Bringing elegance to Western Sydney University (WSU), The Chancellery is most assuredly a very beautiful space. It is also highly functional and able to answer myriad WSU requisites in terms of sustainability and end user needs.
“Currently all the indoor play experiences for kids are pretty feral. Everyone’s on red cordial, running around, there is screaming and lots of noise. They’re high octane. Manic is probably a good word for it. So the client had this idea for creating a new kind of experience that would be different. Pretty much the antithesis of the current model.”
KPDO's Melbourne penthouse is such a construction: a beautiful, lofty, exploration of colour shifting through space. It belongs to an art collector who wanted his home to be as remarkable as the objects he collects and not a passive gallery-esque expanse of white.
