Designed by Chris Manton of Jam Architects, the street level gallery with high ceilings and a total glass facade demystifies the art experience and opens the gallery to the viewing public.
The design is evocative of both the environment in which it sits and also the vernacular architecture of the site's predominantly coastal rural fringe.
The walls sit almost flush to the property boundaries, creating a big-small house that brings the outdoors inside through two internal courtyards.
240 pieces of original artwork, a majority of which were created especially for the hotel by renowned expressionist artist Mark Schaller, await guests at this signature Art Series Hotel.
Bringing Australia’s architecture and design community into focus since 2009.
