ADR today hosted a lively breakfast event at the new Prahran High School, where a panel of experts took a deep dive into our latest trend report on education design.
Moderated by Meaghan Dwyer, principal, John Wardle Architects, the panel featured Ben Lornie, senior associate at PTID, Stephen Turner, partner at Gray Puksand, Debbie Ryan, owner of McBride Charles Ryan and Christon Batey-Smith, director at DesignInc.
The audience also heard from school principal Nathan Chisholm, who spoke in conversation with Stephen Turner, about the different aspects of the design and how they work day-to-day.
The experts discussed vertical schools, moving on from the classroom model and how the changes to the way higher education is now delivered impacts design.
The event was sponsored by Zenith and an online version of the report will be available to download next week.
