Australian Design Review (ADR) is excited to announce the launch of the Business of Architecture of Design (BOAD) podcast series, created to help architectural and design practices run their businesses better.
Each episode will bring you interviews with leading architects and designers who will share their business experiences and expertise and give you valuable insights into running a successful practice.
We will also cover other important topics such as technology, disruption and economic growth and outlook.
To kick off the series, Futurespace’s Angela Ferguson takes the reins as host and speaks with architect Ken Shuttleworth, who spent nearly 30 years with Foster + Partners, working on projects such as the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation’s headquarters in Hong Kong and the Gherkin in London, before founding his own practice Make Architects in 2004.
The pair discuss different business models, tips for keeping great staff and using virtual reality.
The episodes are available from today (4 September) by following this link.
