Each year, UK architectural news publication Building Design (BD) surveys architecture studios from all over the globe to compile a report on the biggest 100 practices in the world. These practices are ranked by the number of fee-earning architects they employ, and this year, six Australian studios made the cut.

The new grandstand will be built by Multiplex in collaboration with engineers Arup, and will offer 360 degree views of the mounting yard, race track, members' lawn, parade ring, betting ring and winning post.
A research project by Bates Smart has examined the tech industry, which culminated in a white paper: ‘The Technology Workplace’. The paper shows how tech companies are flipping the traditional office model due to their unique way of working. Kellie Payne, Bates Smart associate director, discusses the findings of the paper with inside co-editor Gillian Serisier.
