HAY has unveiled its latest furniture collection, blending timeless design with modern innovation.
This new range reflects HAY’s commitment to quality and accessible design, offering stylish and functional pieces suited to contemporary living. Featuring both revived classics and fresh designs, the collection represents a dedication to craftsmanship and aesthetics.
One of the standout pieces is the Palissade Cord, an extension of the beloved Palissade outdoor collection by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. Inspired by plastic woven chairs from the 1960s, this version features handwoven recycled polyester cord wrapped around a steel frame. “This approach preserves the original silhouette while adding texture and softness, akin to an upholstered feel,” HAY co-founder Rolf Hay says.
Other highlights of the collection include a dining armchair, a dining bench, a lounge chair, a lounge sofa and a chaise lounge. With colours designed to match the existing range, these pieces fit effortlessly into various outdoor environments, from urban terraces to garden settings.
The X-Line Chair, originally designed by Niels Jørgen Haugesen in the late 1970s, is another hallmark of the collection. With new life, this Danish classic celebrates a minimalist aesthetic and high-tech design roots. Constructed from thin metal wire, the chair’s distinctive X-shaped frame provides both strength and flexibility.
Since its debut in 2016, this range of powder-coated steel furniture by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec has been praised for its durability and clean, graphic lines. New colour options offer a fresh take while preserving the collection’s symmetrical geometry and elegant curves, making it suitable for both urban and natural settings.
Adding to the lineup is the Pyro Coffee Table, designed by Sylvain Willenz. With its glossy porcelain surface and matte steel tube column, it exemplifies balance and sophistication. and highlights Willenz’s signature use of ceramics, making it a playful yet refined addition to any space.
Rounding out the collection is the Traverse outdoor range by Erwan Bouroullec. Designed to harmonise with its surroundings, the collection features chairs, tables, stools and benches crafted from warm wood and die-cast aluminium. Chosen for their resilience and ability to develop a natural patina over time, these materialities ensure the furniture remains both visually appealing and durable in outdoor settings.
HAY’s latest collection is a testament to its ability to merge past and present, bringing together iconic designs and contemporary innovations to create furniture that is both beautiful and practical.
