Coco Flip’s new lighting collection takes cues from the humble honey dipper

Coco Flip has launched a new lighting collection called Honey, which was hand made in Melbourne by local artisans.

The collection includes a pendant light, table lamp and wall sconce and was inspired by the curves found on a honey dipper. The stepped geometric silhouette is also a nod to a stylised Art Deco sensibility.

Honey is a collaboration with Bendigo Pottery, Charles Sandford and glass artist Amanda Dziedzic.

Offered in slip cast ceramic stoneware, or hand-turned American White Oak, a number of glazes and finishes are available. White or pink hand blown glass completes the pieces and provides a soft, diffuse glow.

The collection will form part of a group show called Material Thought at Modern Times during Melbourne Design Week from March 14 – 24.
