The 2015 VIVID Design Competition winners were announced this afternoon as part of the Décor + Design Show at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
The competition, now in its 13th year, has been instrumental in revealing the nation’s next generation of design talent, providing a platform for new and emerging designers while enabling established practices to stay on-trend and discover innovative new products. VIVID has helped kick start the careers of hundreds of designers, including such notable names as Ross Gardam, Marc Pascal, Adam Lynch, Dale Hardiman and David Harwick.
The pool of talent in 2015 was again impressive, with 114 products from 90 finalists on show at Décor + Design. Curator Caroline Caneva addressed the audience before members of the panel of esteemed judges announced the winners.
