The annual World Architecture Festival provides the opportunity for architects to showcase their talent on a global stage. The prestigious event opens the door to international media coverage, peer and client recognition, and the potential for exciting new commissions.

Last year, Australian architecture firms performed well at the festival.  Over three days of live judging, CHROFI architects emerged as the winners in the Production, Energy & Recycling category of the Completed Buildings award.  Their poetic Lune de Sang Sheds in New South Wales was praised for its transformation from a dairy property into a harvested forest and contemporary livestock farm.

Other award winners at the 2014 festival include Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp Architects, for Liberty Place in Sydney in the Completed Buildings: Offices category; and New Zealand-based Fearon Hay Architects, for Te Kaitaka The Cloak at Aukland Airport in the Completed Buildings: Culture category.

This year’s event will be held in Singapore at Suntec City Convention and Exhibition Centre, designed by AECOM.  The event will take place from 2 to 6 November 2015

Shortlisted entrants will compete for category prizes on the first two days of the three-day Festival.  On the last day, category winners will present again to a jury of experienced and respected judges, who will decide on the World Landscape, World Building, Future Project and Completed Building of the Year Awards.
