It is expected that candidates will be motivated to work collaboratively with colleagues on research projects operating in the disciplines of Architecture and Architectural Science within the School. The School is focused on the built environment and uses the methods of architecture, design, planning, science, art, engineering, IT, and social sciences to analyse, understand and design innovative environments. We have one of Australia’s best university laboratory infrastructures for research and design in the built environment, including The Innovation in Applied Design (IAD) Lab, and the Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) Lab as well as lighting, audio and acoustics labs. We have a major and ongoing investment in the Design Modelling and Fabrication lab, including architectural robotics.
