Olax takes an outside-in approach to interiors, creating custom architectural steel glass doors and windows that frame sophisticated spaces.
Located in Melbourne, Olax Doors and Windows was founded by Marcus Joyner, a former builder with more than 15 years of industry experience. After working closely with architects and interior designers, Joyner decided to establish a product that enabled a greater capacity for innovation – designing doors and windows that became canvases for creativity.
His team’s creations add a layer of depth and dimension to the overall design narrative of a room, while transforming ordinary doorways and windows into statement pieces in their own right.
“Every item is its own individual beauty piece,” Joyner says.
Doors and windows by Olax are available in a range of styles to complement any project.
The clean lines of the solid steel framing can be configured in modern geometric shapes or traditional archways. The doors also come in a wide range of powder-coatings and glass types.
From sliding, pivot, bi-fold and French doors to casement and awning windows, the opportunities for customisation are boundless.
Quality craftsmanship and attention to detail ensures that every piece is not just a work of art, but appropriately functional.
Olax glass doors divide hallways, kitchens, living rooms and open up to the outdoors without interrupting the flow of natural light, connecting and demarcating rooms in equal measure. Cellar doors can showcase wine collections, while entry doors can be customised with dog flaps.
Installed inside, the doors also function to soften acoustics, reduce noise and provide privacy.
For Olax, doors and windows are not an afterthought. Their creations are made to complement great interior design. Joyner aims to be a trusted partner and collaborator to interior designers and architects all over Australia and around the world.
