Entries for IDEA 2022 close end of this week! To help you prepare your entry and submit it before midnight AEST this Friday 10 June, here are some tips.
Entry requirements: To enter IDEA, you’ll need 10 images, a specs sheet, project plans and the answers to the following three questions:
- What were the aims of the project?
- How did you achieve excellence in design outcomes?
- How did the project respond to and meet the brief?
Remember any project completed between 1 January 2021 and 30 June 2022 is eligible to be entered in IDEA 2022!
Entry form: We’ve put together a fact sheet to help you with your entry. You can also download a PDF of the entry form to fill in. Just remember to read our terms and conditions before you enter to make sure you’re eligible.
Images: You can submit up to 10 images in landscape or portrait. Please ensure these are in JPEG, TIFF or PNG format in 1000px wide and 300dpi. Renders aren’t eligible.
Specs sheet: Your entry isn’t anonymous, so don’t worry about removing your name or your practice’s name from any of the documents or plans you submit. When it comes to the specs sheet, just include a list of the main suppliers you used.
Entry text: You will need to provide answers to the above questions. Don’t worry if you’re not a wordsmith. Succinct and clear answers that avoid exaggeration and stick to the facts are best.
Word count limit: The word count limit ranges from 50 to 200 words. Please take them into consideration when writing your entry.
Submitting your entry: We will send you a confirmation email once you’ve submitted your entry.
Remember, the entry deadline is midnight AEST on Friday 10 June, so start your entry now.
