For Australian born designers Harrison and Nicholas Condos, this laid-back philosophy fused with their Mediterranean heritage serves as the inspiration for everything they do at Harbour. 

Here, the Condos brothers share the designs that, for them, evoke the essence of Australia — including a Santa Monica restaurant run by a fellow Aussie. 

Harbour Chloe Lounge Chair

The sculptured shape of Chloe’s back was inspired by feminine curves. We designed it to feature sloping almond-shaped armrests and sculptural frames. Our goal was to create a sophisticated piece that you’d want to lounge in all day and admire from afar. It’s been amazing to have Aussie model Jess Hart as part of our collection launch to bring this piece to life! 

Élephante Scottsdale Restaurant

Élephante is a restaurant in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, operated by Australian Nick Mathers from the Wish You Were Here group. Similar to Harbour, the restaurant is inspired by the Australian coastal lifestyle and features a strong Mediterranean influence. Its rustic design and seasonal menu are a stand-out, and we are proud to have custom-designed Harbour furniture to suit the aesthetic and overall inviting atmosphere of the space.

Ellison Studios – ALVA Brushed Steel Frame Armchair in Malibu Cognac

Ellison Studios is bold in its design approach, and the ALVA Armchair in Malibu Cognac is one of our favourites. The curved cushions, quality fabric and hand-finished upholstery give it a relaxed yet sophisticated look that invites you to touch, sit and stay a while.

Harbour Scala Collection 

The Scala coffee and side tables draw inspiration from the stunning Scala dei Turchi cliffs in Sicily. We reimagined nature’s organic forms through a modern, coastal lens. The tables are crafted using a concrete composite to create soft, sculptural nesting and a chalky limestone finish reminiscent of the white limestone cliffs that inspired their name.

Oliver James Lilos – Single Classic Lilo

We love a lilo, and this one from Los Angeles based designer Oliver James reminds us of relaxing Sydney summers. Its versatility as a luxurious sun lounger or a pool float makes it a great durable outdoor accessor. You can’t go past the classic black and white stripes!

Armadillo Agra Rug in Artichoke Green

This Agra rug in artichoke green from Armadillo adds a subtle softness, yet luxurious feel to a room. We love the artisanal nature of Armadillo rugs.  They’re understated yet elegant with a great sustainability message.

Harbour Parker Sofa

The Parker collection is retro-modern luxury inspired by the iconic style of 1950s Palm Springs. We designed this collection with tubular bronze aluminium, thick strapping and refined piping to incorporate mid-century charm with contemporary sophistication. This is definitely a one-of-a-kind piece that adds wow factor to an outdoor space.

Rachel Donath Bohan Table Lamp in Burlwood

Australian designer Rachel Donath has an incredible selection of beautifully crafted pieces. The Bohan table lamp in burlwood features a unique design with a very organic feel, which is very much aligned to our design ethos. It’s a sculpture in itself, and we appreciate how simple and elegant it is.
