Celebrate IDEA's 20th birthday at the gala!

That’s right, it’s our 20th birthday and this year’s gala is shaping up to be a fantastic evening full of dancing, celebration and good vibes.

Launched by inside magazine in 2003, the IDEA program celebrates the best of Australian interior and product design across a range of different categories and special awards.

The program has been growing steadily each year, and now attracts hundreds of entries from practices and designers from across Australia.

*Last year’s gala was held at the Royal Randwick in Sydney.*

In 2022, we received the largest number of entries ever, establishing IDEA as the premier awards program for interior designers and architects.

Entries are judged by a panel of design industry professionals, each of whom brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the judging process.

As well as attracting submissions from some of the country’s leading architecture and design firms, the program also helps to support emerging local designers.

We are proud to be associated with some of the key manufacturers and distributors within the Australian design industry.

But even if you’re not shortlisted or didn’t enter the IDEA awards in 2022, there are still plenty of reasons to join us on Thursday 24 November 2022.

The night promises to be one of the summer’s best outdoor events with free-flowing cocktails, great food and wine and plenty of live music.
