This year marks the 25th anniversary of agIdeas International Design Forum, presenting prolific international design thought leaders across and accomplished creatives from interactive media design to product and industrial design. The event hopes to attract 11,000 people and to offer an extraordinary range of events celebrating design excellence. Themes will include the socio-economic issues related to the merging of technology, business and creativity.

Central to the forum and taking place at the Melbourne Convention and exhibition centre is ‘Masters of Design’, showcasing a stellar selection of designers who stand out in the world for their ideas and execution to their chosen craft. Providing an opportunity for emerging and established practitioners to network and gain understanding of the processes and thoughts behind these designers award winning works.

This year speakers include, Neil Huxley creative director for Digital Domain and VGA award winner responsible for VFX designer and Art Director on films such as Avatar and Watchmen; and Dirk Vander Kooij, award winning designer and craftsman passionate about sustainability and embracing artificial intelligence.

This is an excellent opportunity for designers at all stages to learn from industry experts and hear what makes their ideas tick.
