Presented by agIdeas, Look Upstairs will take place over three days, from 2 to 4 April 2014, and will be the first of a new era of design events. Responding to the feedback from its audiences, the event will build off the legacy of 23 years of design forums by bringing together the largest gathering of international design leaders ever seen in Australia. This carefully curated program explores the philosophy, strategy and processes behind some of the world’s most innovative solutions for diverse industries, communities and nations.

Design professionals, students and educators will come together for presentations and conversations with some of the world’s more original minds. Showing how they are pushing the boundaries in their creative fields, the presenters will inspire audiences to strive for excellence in their own endeavours. This sellout event will bring together 2000 people each day from all over Australia and the globe.

Through forum presentations, moderated conversations, informal gatherings and social functions, a unique chemistry will evolve that celebrates the diversity and internationality of design and forge links throughout the global design community.
