Led by studio manager Tim Bloomfield, the Melbourne studio of MODE has seen recent expansion off the back of continued economic growth in Victoria.

“With the acquisition of several key projects we are excited that recent appointments of senior project staff will enable the studio to continue to expand our project portfolio and consolidate its strong presence in Melbourne,” says Bloomfield.

An experienced architect and interior designer for over 35 years, Bloomfield has diverse experience and knowledge with qualifications in business administration and property. New additions to the team include senior architect Joanne Lo (pictured above), who joined MODE this month. Lo brings to MODE 25 years of practical design experience in both local and international projects, with a strong portfolio of commercial, residential, hotels and mixed-use, including several award-winning developments. Her expertise lies in architectural design and master plan of medium to large scale complex projects.

Pawle Calvert-Brown has also joined the studio as senior project leader. Calvert-Brown is an experienced technician and detailing expert with 20 years’ experience. He has had extensive industry experience and has delivered projects in various sectors, including transport and commercial developments in Australia and internationally.
