Oggi but not domani!

Oggi but not domani!

Spotted on a recent stroll through design central, Cremorne in Melbourne was an unusual art intervention. Or is it? Looks like a garage door but the total area is covered with 16 bright, geometric patterned panels. Within each panel is the Italian word OGGI (or in English, today).

With a little digging and thanks to an inquisitive mind the reason behind the collage became apparent. This was just a little 6out–of–the-box advertising for a new wine from the famed Crittenden Estate in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Each six bottle pack of OGGI includes a different label so there’s no chance of tiring of colour or pattern.

Winemaker Rollo Crittenden developed the special wine using a skins fermented blend of Friulano, Savagnin and Arneis. Here for oggi (today) but not for domani (tomorrow). OGGI is in limited and once only release and once sold out will be no more.
