Tili Bensley-Nettheim joins Niche as the editor of AR magazine and ADR Architectural, teaming up with Elisa Scarton, editor of inside magazine and ADR Interiors.

Tili will also be an integral part of the content team for Niche’s newest initiative, the Business of Architecture and Design conference, which had a very successful debut last November at the Parliament of NSW and for 2020 will be hosted later in the year in Melbourne.

An experienced design and travel journalist, Tili obtained a Master of Publishing degree from the University of Melbourne before moving to the design capital of Copenhagen.

For the last two years, Tili has worked as editor of design, travel and culture magazine Oak – The Nordic Journal. She hosted monthly salons across Denmark where female leaders working across disciplines could meet and collaborate.

Tili also worked as the managing editor of Curated Copenhagen, a print guidebook for women-founded restaurants, design studios and fashion houses in the city. She contributed Danish design news and profiles to Dwell, Sindroms, Ark Journal, The Architect’s Newspaper and Mayday magazines.

Tili takes over the reins of AR as the magazine’s previous editor Madeleine Swain moves to concentrate solely on Niche’s burgeoning content agency side of the business.

Tili is pleased to finally be back home for some much needed Vitamin D and looks forward to advocating for Australian architecture and design.
