Axor’s ShowerPipe designed by Front, the Swedish design trio, has recently won the ‘Best of the Best’ distinction for highest design quality at the 2014 Red Dot Award.

According to the Head of Axor brand, Philippe Grohe, the award is an important recognition in the field of product design and in the design of bathroom as a living space.

Axor is the designer brand of Hansgrohe SE – the bathroom and sanitation specialist from Germany.

In addition to the ‘Best of the Best’ distinction, Axor and Hansgrohe together received other recognitions as well. Axor’s ShowerProducts by Front, Axor LampShower by Nendo, the Hansgrohe Shower Select concealed thermostats, the Hansgrohe Raindance Select S 240 overhead shower, the Hansgrohe Metris kitchen mixer with a pull-out handspray, and the Hansgrohe Logis series of washbasin mixers al received the ‘red dot’.

The products were assessed on the basis of design, innovation, functionality, ergonomics and ecological compatibility.
