DesignBUILD, an annual trade event for architects and those in the construction and design communities, is expanding its 2015 program by offering interior architects and designers the chance to exhibit and connect at the additional DesignBUILD Interiors show floor.

The main DesignBUILD show floor will already be host to over 200 exhibitors, and with 2014’s event having represented over 20 countries, it has become the largest gathering of architecture, construction and design manufacturers in Australia.

The inclusion of the new Interiors space will expand DesignBuild’s scope by featuring free seminars, workshops, keynotes and exhibits to help inspire innovation within the interior design community.

Houzz, who very recently placed first in American Magazine’s most innovative companies in architecture, will be exhibiting at the new DesignBUILD Interiors show room. Houzz Australia’s Managing Director, Jason Chuck, noted how integral DesignBUILD is becoming in the health and development of an active architecture and design industry.

“We’re really excited to be a part of the first ever DesignBUILD Interiors as it offers our Houzz community of 15,000 architects, builders, interior designers and landscapers a platform to freely market their services and connect with potential clients and other industry professionals,” Mr Chuck said.

DesignBUILD’s Event Manager, Ali Mead, revealed that the intent for DesignBuild Interiors was to strengthen its position as a key trade event for the industry by connecting all the process of a project, giving visitors the opportunity to draw inspiration for their projects as a whole.

“Through the addition of DesignBUILD Interiors, we have created the only dedicated trade event to connect professionals across all stages of construction and design, from the initial project concept stages to interior fit out, and provide inspiration for their next projects,” Ms Mead said.

On top of the DesignBUILD Interiors space, the event will be split up into various areas, all of which will showcase products and developments within the design, construction and architecture industries.

The 2015 DesignBUILD exhibition will be held from 28-30 April at the Sydney Showgrounds, within Sydney Olympic Park.
