The Australian Stone Advisory Association (ASAA) Architectural Stone Awards were presented during designEX 2014 last month. David West of International Conservation Services and architect Stephen Varady, of Stephen Varady Architecture, presented the awards.

The ASAA awards aim to reward commercial and residential projects that exhibit ‘good design values’ and ‘appropriate use’ of materials. Acknowledging the use of imported stone and Australian natural stone, the awards were presented to the project architect, the sculptor or the stone supplier.

The jurors included David Saunders of S2 Design, Lindsay Davis of Garner Davis and Alex Njoo.
