Co-located with Digital Construction Australia, Australia HVACR Expo and the International Construction Expo, Sydney Build begins today, Wednesday 7 May, at the ICC Sydney.

Sydney Build has cultivated a reputation for creating a bustling festival atmosphere, complete with conference content, exhibitors, live music, entertainment and immersive experiences – and this year is no different.

The event takes place over two days and generally attracts more than 25,000 attendees, including esteemed architects, developers, house builders, contractors, civil engineers and government representatives.

Celebrating the diversity and strength of the industry

Patrons can expect exciting and thought-provoking networking parties, panel discussions and exhibitions. An impressive line-up of guest speakers is set to discuss issues and opportunities impacting the built environment, such as the future of housing, sustainability, artificial intelligence (AI), digital construction, diversity and reconciliation, and many more.

Speakers include Frasers Property development manager and First Nations advisor Maddison Rogers, the Honourable Anoulack Chanthivong MP, National Transport Commission chair Carolyn Walsh and Homes NSW head of housing portfolio Michael Wheatley.

The expo will feature more than 20 industry-led networking parties hosted by industry titans IAT Construction, NAWIC, Master Builders Australia, Women in BIM, Australian Passivhaus Association, Empowered Women in Trades, and many others.

The expo’s ‘Government Hub’ is designed for patrons to mingle with local and international government bodies from Building Commission NSW, NSW Department of Planning, SafeWork NSW, Italian Trade Agency, Consulate-General of Japan in Sydney and the Spanish-Australian Chamber of Commerce.

Patrons will also be inspired by more than 600 exhibitors and live demonstrations led by DECO Australia, HubSpot, RIB Australia, Revizto, Autodesk, Kingspan, Matterport, KONE Elevators, Standards Australia and many other industry leaders.
