Pottery aficionados are celebrating the introduction of three exquisite additions to the lighting collection at Robert Gordon Interiors. The Curve Ceramic Wall Light, the Box Ceramic Wall Light and the Cylinder Ceramic Ceiling Light embody the organic charm of Robert Gordon designs. 

In an age of mass-produced fixtures, this Australian family pottery business has retained the same commitment to skilled craftsmanship throughout its 75-year legacy.

Their lighting collection is handmade in their Melbourne workshop using clay mined in Bendigo, Victoria. Each piece takes a week or more to produce and passes through the hands of at least 12 highly skilled craftspeople. 

Glazed by hand with formulas developed on-site by a team of ceramic engineers, the reactive glazes and raw clay finishes produce a colour palette of earthy elegance. Their unique pieces have been gracing Australian interiors since the brand launched in 1945.

Unique ceramic beauty

The Curve Ceramic Wall Light and the Box Ceramic Wall Light emit a soft, even glow both upward and downward. They can also be configured for directional lighting to suit your space. Each light is mounted on a discreet custom backplate for a seamless, sophisticated finish.

The Cylinder Ceramic Ceiling Lights are available in Tall and Short. Displayed solo, they are chic and minimalist. Grouped in pairs or trios, they command attention. All pieces are made to order.

Champions of local production and sustainability

Robert Gordon Interiors is rightfully proud of its dedication to traditional production techniques and sustainable design. Each ceramic piece is made from recycled scrap clay and fired in an electric kiln offset with solar power. Rainwater is harvested for use in production and all packaging is biodegradable and compostable.
