Australian design brand NAU exhibited at 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, running from 18-20 June 2025, introducing a distinctively Antipodean voice to the Nordic design scene.
Showcasing at Galerie Mikael Andersen in Copenhagen, Denmark, NAU unveiled the Cove and Nola collections by Australian designer Tom Fereday.
The new Cove and Nola collections were presented in a curated exhibition of NAU’s range of contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories, which has grown organically in size and depth since its inception in 2017.
The collections were exhibited alongside hero pieces – many by fellow countryman Adam Goodrum.
NAU founder Richard Munao explained that their showcase for 3daysofdesign was a mix of new and established designs that underpin their fundamental ethos of approachability, comfort and simplicity.
“This exhibition aims to engage visitors with the creativity and craftsmanship that define NAU, offering insights into the design process and philosophy behind each piece,” he said.

A celebration of timber in its purest form – the Cove collection features an armchair and sofa that invite moments of pause.
Taking its name from its gently sweeping curves, the Cove armchair and sofa’s exposed timber frame and feathered cushions offer comfort grounded in refined craftsmanship. Designed by Tom Fereday as single arc forms, the two armrests hug a series of wooden bars, in turn forming an elegant frame for its plush seating cushions.
The Cove table effortlessly integrates its formed base with the top, functioning as a sculptural centrepiece with bold sled-style legs and a slim, refined top.
Originally presented in 2022 as limited edition pieces cast in aluminium, this new design iteration of Cove comes in solid oak and walnut timber and is the first commercially available edition of its kind.

Designed by Fereday with the intention to instil calm within the home, the Nola light was also displayed in NAU’s showcase in Copenhagen.
Made from hand-cast crystal glass and honed solid stone, the Nola commemorates the use of natural materials. Coupled with a concealed light source, this subtle collection casts a soft luminosity that truly enhances a space.
Available in two sizes, the Nola lamp has the possibility to function as a larger feature light or a smaller side table lamp, giving it the ability to seamlessly fit in any space.

– Molloy chairs, Table and XL Coffee Table by Goodrum, celebrated for their refined simplicity and versatility.
– Aran sofa by Goodrum, known for its timeless luxury and unique hand-stitched bolster detail.
– Sia chair by Fereday, inspired by traditional factory seating and known for its seamless integration of comfort and style.

After furnishing the Australian Pavilion at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, the exhibition at 3daysofdesign marks another significant milestone for NAU as it expands on the global stage.
As well as marking a pivotal moment in NAU’s legacy, their showcase at 3daysofdesign also acts as a purposeful display of the essence of contemporary Australian design to an international audience.
“We are incredibly excited to bring NAU to the European market and participate in 3daysofdesign,” Munao said. “This event is the perfect platform to introduce our unique Australian design ethos to a global audience and connect with the international design community.”
