Chandon joins IDEA

The Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) gala will sparkle a little brighter this November courtesy of our newest event partner Chandon.

As the exclusive sparkling wine partner of the IDEA gala, Chandon will treat guests to some of the finest bubbles across the night.

At the pre-gala gathering, a special pour of the 2018 Chandon Vintage Brut will set the tone for a luxury experience, while Chandon Brut, Chandon Brut Rosé and the vibrant Chandon Garden Spritz will poured throughout the main gala. A select few lucky award winners will take home a bottle to toast their success in true style.

Widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading sparkling producers, Chandon has been crafting méthode traditionnelle wines in the Yarra Valley since 1986.

With sweeping views of the Yarra Ranges and a cellar of exceptional cuvées, its estate offers one of the most immersive sparkling wine experiences in the country – bringing together winemaking heritage, bold innovation and a deep connection to place.

A marriage of wine and local design

Chandon’s winemaking legacy and deep Australian roots have been beautifully articulated in the newly reimagined Chandon Homestead, which officially opened in January this year.

Once the residence of the estate’s founding winemakers, the space combines heritage, creativity and understated luxury. The Homestead has been thoughtfully transformed by Melanie Beynon Architecture & Design. It marks a new chapter in Chandon’s approach to hospitality, an elegant expression of terroir, storytelling and timeless design.

Hosting with heart

‘Hosting with heart’ was the guiding inspiration of the transformation, based on Chandon’s core philosophy and what the brand seeks to help all wine-loving entertainers achieve.
