Kooyongkoot Residence is the major renovation of a heritage-listed Victorian house in Hawthorn for a family of five. Stripped back to its shell and rebuilt with new spatial planning, heritage detailing, colour, lighting, furniture and artwork, the house balances richly layered period rooms with a quieter contemporary rear extension.
