A zinc-clad extension and central courtyard were added to the original Melbourne home, adding openness to its interiors, which are elevated with a palette of pale blue quartzite, deep reds, pinks and opulent Murano glass. Salvaged bricks, a timber-lined ceiling inspired by the turret and stone-painted joinery add tactility and character.
