The REMIX Global Summit returns to Sydney this June, bringing together more than 85 creative visionaries from the world’s leading cultural organisations, set to tackle the big ideas shaping the future of the creative industries.
Speakers for this year include representatives from Twitter, Virgin, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Etsy, Yahoo!7, MCA, Cooper-Hewitt Smithsonian, Intel, Australian Museum, The Guardian, Google, ACMI, Foxtel, Westfield and Blippar.
The key focus of this year’s summit will be the blurring of the physical and digital experience of museums, and the building of dynamic creative cities. The two-day event, organised as part of the Vivid Ideas Program at Vivid Sydney, is known for its social program and workshops that invite collaborations across different industries.
Peter Tullin co-founder of REMIX Summits said: “With the unique model of REMIX, new ideas emerge and collaborations develop with the juxtaposition of creative visionaries from different worlds – disruption occurs when you have senior figures from NASA, Cirque du Soleil, Spotify and MoMA in the same room. This is remixing and it is creating a whole new approach to innovation in the creative economy; the fastest growing industry sector around the globe.”
