A number of Australian kitchen designers and architects have been announced as finalists in a global competition run by Sub-Zero and Wolf. Picked from a field of more than 1,500 entrants, five of the 25 finalists in the Kitchen Design Contest (KDC) were local, displaying the standard at which Australian design currently sits.
Designs for Melbourne's five new train stations as part of the Metro Tunnel project have been revealed. The renders show designs that focus on natural light and enhancing the pedestrian experience.

The plans include 1.05 km of dedicated, separated bicycle lanes, water sensitive urban design and flood mitigation, upgraded tram and bus stops, including the potential for ‘green’ tram tracks, improved biodiversity and a critical neighbourhood space for Southbank.
