Taking a Heritage building with an excellent architectural pedigree into a new iteration has been achieved with grace and grandeur thanks to HASSELL Sydney studio’s feel for volume and a reductive palette.
It is an interactive exhibition exploring the possibilities of drawing as visualised by Italian designing duo Erika Zorzi and Mateo Sangalli from Mathery Studio.
The use of wood for the structure was chosen because it allowed a clean and fast construction process and a lightweight building limiting the ecological impact on the site.
The Camper store in Sao Paulo, Brazil has the same design principles, which create an engaging environment by integrating dense layers of coloured fabric strips through the spatial footprint of the ceiling.
