What do these new certifications mean for MondoClad®?

MondoClad® has successfully completed a comprehensive assessment of its impact on human health and has been awarded a Global GreenTag PlatinumHEALTH™ HealthRATE™ designation through the PHD™ program. This signifies that MondoClad® is deemed safe for use with no significant toxicity concerns. 

HVG Facades’ goal was not to just pass or fail this certification but to undergo a thorough assessment of its product. The business says it remained “authentic and transparent” throughout the stringent, scientific, and peer-reviewed evaluation that is conducted by Global GreenTag to assess health, safety and environmental toxicity implications. 

David Baggs, Global GreenTag International’s CEO, technical director and co-founder, says a GreenTag PHD essentially “pushes the boundaries of product health certification to address human health concerns directly”. 

“It is the first system globally to assess the health impacts of the final product – and not just the hazards of the ingredients,” he says.
